After a week in Barcelona, we headed for Madrid and stayed there for two weeks. When we travel, we never spend that much time in one place, so it was nice to really get to experience a city.
Also, I tried making my edits ridiculously vivid on Photoshop since Blogger has this habit of changing the quality of my photos.
More photos after the cut.
McDonald's Gran Via: The fanciest McDonald's EVER. The interior was golden and ornate. There was even a chandelier!

They also sold macaroons. Oh, Europe.
A mariachi band playing at Puerta del Sol.
The singer saw me taking a photo of him while he sang and posed for me!
A legit Mexican Hat Dancer!
Plaza Mayor
This biscuit shop was AMAZING. We bought an adorable tin box and just filled it to the brim!
A fountain at the Palacio Real de Madrid. My pictures of the actual palace were just too horrible to post haha.
Museo del Prado
My sister and I found these cool hedges behind the museum and.. I just had to.
Like I said in my previous post, we're huge tennis fans. The Mutua Madrid Open was actually the reason we stayed as long as we did. We went on the 9th, the day we were originally supposed to leave Spain.
I WAS THIS CLOSE TO NOVAK DJOKOVIC. I GOT TO TOUCH HIS ARM. I actually asked him for a photo and he said yes (!!!) but some kid got in the way of my mom's camera so we have a picture of Nole with a random boy. :(
RICHARD GASQUET! I had a huge crush on him in 2007 and all my 7th grade memories came back that day. *girly giggle* I watched two of his matches that day (singles and doubles), both of which he won. :')

DeleteWowza, never knew Barcelona was this beautiful, I'd like to say it's the sun but I think it's also the fact that you put a photo of 1) macarons and 2) NOVAK DJOKOVIC (omg) in the set. Stunning photos!
ReplyDeleteThese were actually taken in Madrid but Barcelona is just as beautiful! And yes omggg Nole! I can't believe I saw him! That close!
